At the traditional dart-throwing game, note the Bill Rainwater chalkware prizes on the shelves. Bill's sister Betty Godby said "Bill was very proud of the figures he made. It upset him greatly when children would use his beloved prizes for target practice, or as chalk to mark their hopscoth squares. He was so annoyed by these practices that he invented a type of plaster-of-paris that could not be shattered into little pieces." Photo donated by Nina Fraley.
