1944. NE 180th Street looking northwest from intersection with 178th and Brookside Blvd

1944. This road along McAleer Creek in Lake Forest Park was opened as a logging skid road in late 1800's. This is at 3722 NE 180th St (Perkins Way) where Otto and Mary Erickson bought the Tryon house. Clarence and Doris Nogler lived at 3712. This road was a small unpaved lane until 1930-31 and then paved in 1932-33. Photo loaned by Doris Nogler. See p.79 and p.137 in "Growing Up With Lake Forest Park."
