About 1919. The Mitchells built the first store in Kenmore at Bothell Way and 68th Ave NE. Sign reads "Kenmore Store, Ice cream, Soft Drinks, Cigars & Candies". Also signs "Lipton's Tea" and "The Seattle Star". There is snow on the roof. See "Growing Up With Lake Forest Park" Vol.2 pp.107-8.
