Summer 1928. Ena Lehman (later Atkinson), about to enter ninth grade at Roosevelt High School, worked as a Life Guard at the beach. Float was built in 1916 or so and provided by Lake Forest Park Women's Improvement Club (Civic Club). See "Growing Up With Lake Forest Park" p.39.
